Dotsume/High-density jersey fabric is an extra-thick material of approximately 11.5 ounces, made of American cotton and knitted by loop-wheel knitting machine. As it's knitted very slowly, each knitting machine can only produce about 30 pcs per day, but it is characterized by its ability to evenly pack the yarn and its resistance to shrinkage and distortion even after repeated wear and washing.
The front placket, which is the icon of the uniform, is of a top layer specification, so it has outstanding strength. The hem area, which tends to stretch, is reinforced with a separate fabric on the reverse side.
