The body fabric uses No.10 yarn on the face and a thicker No.7 yarn on the reverse, giving it a substantial, heavyweight feel, and is paired with Lavenham’s original quilt. To enhance durability, the shoulders and the back of the arms are reinforced with quilted panels reminiscent of armor. The sleeves are constructed in a raglan style, with carefully covered seams that keep stitching from appearing on the surface.
