Account Terms and Conditions
Article 1 - Definition of Account
Account is an individual (minors must have the consent of a person with parental authority) who has approved the Terms and Conditions, applied to Hit Union Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company/We/Us") for Jackman account ("Account") and completed the procedures prescribed by the Company.
Article 2 - Issuance of account, etc.
1. The account process is carried out via the website, and one account is issued online for each individual.
2. The account is provided on the official Jackman website (www.jackman.jp) and is solely for your own use and may not be transferred or lent to anyone other than yourself (whether individual or corporation).
3. No admission fee or membership fee is required for the issue of an account.
Article 3 - Use and benefits of account services
1. Account members can use the account service in the shops and online shop designated by the Company (except for certain excluded shops, etc., hereinafter referred to as "shops"). The terms and conditions for the use of the online shop shall be set out separately in the 'Online Shop Terms and Conditions'.
2. Account members can receive various information services such as email news by registering for an account. The member acknowledges that some emails will be sent to all members regardless of their selections, and that all communication costs for receiving emails, browsing the site, etc., will be borne by the user.
3. Account Members may not transfer or redeem the benefits or its rights to a third party.
4. The Company reserves the right to change, amend or abolish all or part of the benefits without notice.
Article 4 - Changes to registration details, loss of membership card, etc.
1. If there are any changes to the details registered when joining the account service, the account member shall promptly make the changes via "My Page" on the Jackman official website.
2. The Company shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the loss of the account or password or unauthorised use by a third party.
Article 5 - Management of email address (ID) and password
Account members shall be responsible for managing their own email address (ID) and password, and shall not transfer, lend or disclose them to third parties.
Account members shall be responsible for any damage caused by insufficient management of their email address (ID) and password, errors in use or use by third parties.
Account members shall immediately inform the Company if their email address (ID) and password are found to have been used illegally/unauthorizedly by a third party.
Article 6 - Withdrawal procedure
1. Account members may withdraw from the account services at any time by submitting a withdrawal request to the Company. In addition, the member's purchase history data and the right to receive benefits will not be restored even if the member re-joins the service.
2. Withdrawal from the account services shall be made via "My Page" on the official Jackman website at the time of application for withdrawal.
Article 7 - Loss of membership account and benefits
If a member falls under any of the following terms, the Company shall suspend the use of the account service or forfeit account without notice.
(1) If there is a false statement in any of the prescribed items (name, address, telephone number, date of birth, etc.) in the 'Customer Information' or if the Company's business is disrupted due to a lack of prescribed change procedures, etc.
(2) If there is a breach of the Account Terms and Conditions
(3) If the Company otherwise deems the account member to be inappropriate.
Article 8 - Handling of personal information
The personal information of account members obtained in connection with the use of the service shall be handled in accordance with the 「Privacy Policy, which is separately stipulated by the Company.
Article 9 - Changes to Account Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions at it's discretion and without notice to members in the event that any of the following applies. Any changes will be posted on the website or notified by email or other means deemed appropriate by the Company, and the changes will take effect at the time of posting or notification.
(1) When changes to these Terms and Conditions are in the interests of the members.
(2) When the change to these terms and conditions is not contrary to the purpose of the contract and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the content after the change, and other circumstances related to the change
If the member uses the account services after the change has taken effect, the member is deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions after the change has taken effect.
Article 10 Jurisdiction
In the event of a dispute between a member and the Company in relation to the Account Terms and Conditions, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
These terms and conditions applies to all members from 14 July 2023. The old Terms and Conditions established prior to the present Terms and Conditions shall expire with the application of the present Terms and Conditions.
