This jacket is made using a woven fabric spun from organic cotton into nepped yarn in Japan. For the carding process to remove impurities from the cotton, we adjusted the machine settings to create a natural, rustic nepped yarn, preserving the roughness of the organic cotton and resulting in a dry, natural feel. The design features a rounded silhouette and takes inspiration from the traditional two-button tailored jackets with voluminous lapels and a hanging gorge line (the seam between the top and bottom collar) popular among baseball players and commissioners around 1930. We have added our own unique enhancements as well, such as a large cone-shaped inner pocket, a classic facing finish, and a base flap pocket
