A cardigan with a wide box silhouette. Set-in raglan carefully sewn to fit naturally around the shoulders. Since it is much heavier than normal fabric, it is shaped on the hem so that it does not spread too much to maintain balance. The patch pocket is inspired by a 1900s baseball sweater and is reinforced with woven fabric on the back of the pocket. Fabric waffle-knitted using a rare 5G jacquard knitting machine, made from 6/1 soft twisted cotton yarn. The 5G jacquard knitting machine is a minor knitting machine that is rarely used. It is used for wool knits, etc., but it is almost never used for cotton items. We use lightly soft twisted cotton yarn to reduce weight, while thick yarn is used to create a fluffy and bulky feel.
