Spring & Summer 2026
Analog loopwheel machines cannot be fully automated. Compared to modern sinker knitting machines, they are more labor-intensive, and only a limited number of machines are available. However, they are essential to uniformly tighten the gauge and develop material that can be worn for a long time. This is why, even today, we continue to use loopwheel machines to knit Dotsume Tenjiku jersey. Dotsume Tenjiku jersey is an approximately 11.5 oz weight fabric knitted from American cotton. The uniformly tight gauge results in fabric that resists distortion and maintains its shape even after repeated wearing and washing. The fabric has a sturdiness and crispness that keeps it from clinging to the skin, making it comfortable to wear. This baseball shirt references baseball uniforms of the early 1900s, when they still had collars. Different materials are used for the collar and pockets depending on the color, giving each color a distinct look.
