Spring & Summer 2026
The cotton-linen twill fabric is woven with a cotton warp and a cotton-linen blend weft, with different rib spacing on the front and back. The fabric is then dyed using direct dyes in small vats, using a grunge wash process to reduce the color saturation. After dyeing, the fabric is dried in the full sun, which is both labor and time intensive, but results in a naturally faded look while ensuring minimal damage to the fabric. Drawing inspiration from classic coach jackets, the design of this shirt incorporates details such as double-layered shoulder panels, back pleats, and a high-low hem with side slits, adapted for use in a shirt.
