Dotsume Tenjiku is a uniformly dense jersey fabric knitted on loopwheel machines. Using American cotton, this results in an approximately 11.5 oz weight fabric. The fabric’s uniformly tight gauge allows it to resist distortion and maintain its shape even after repeated wearing and washing. It also has a sturdiness and crispness that keeps it from clinging to the skin, making it comfortable to wear. Our in-house factory’s expertise in sewing this ultra-thick fabric enables us to release a variety of items made with Dotsume Tenjiku jersey. This long-sleeve t-shirt is designed to fit one size larger than the short-sleeve version. We use a sturdy and thick rib knit at the neckline and cuffs, like those used in sweatshirts, to match the body fabric and achieve an overall sense of balance.
