The Half Zip Parka is crafted using a blend of dry-looking American and Australian cotton. This “Back Nep” fabric is woven while adjusting the tension on the rapier loom to retain neps (knotted fibers) and strengthen the yarn during weaving. The parka has a loose-fitting design that makes it easy to put on and take off, relaxed drop shoulders, and wide armholes. The armholes are reinforced with double stitching, a feature that was common in baseball uniforms around 1910. We designed the hood to be on the smaller side, keeping it light and casual for early spring wear, so that it does not feel like it is weighing you down in the back.
