Spring & Summer 2026
These pants are crafted using a blend of dry-looking American and Australian cotton. Adjustments are made to the machine during the carding process, when impurities are removed from the cotton and fibers are aligned in the same direction, to leave neps (knotted fibers) behind in the yarn. This creates a three-dimensional texture in the finished fabric. This “Back Nep” material then undergoes a resin-based finishing treatment to enhance its wind resistance and integrity. The design is based on classic baseball uniform pants. These Umps-style above-the-knee shorts have a front-opening design with belt loops and spacious pockets. The waistband includes elastic and an adjustable drawstring that allows the pants to be expanded by about 10 centimeters beyond the finished size.
