This short-sleeve t-shirt is made from jersey fabric using 18/1 air-spun American cotton yarn. With a dry texture and slightly rough feel, the fabric is not too thick or too thin, and is the perfect weight for wearing from spring through late summer. This American cotton is cultivated in the Mississippi River basin and then air-spun into yarn that varies in width from 13 to 32 millimeters, creating a rough texture and unique crispness. The ribbed neckline is a thick fabric binding that sandwiches the body fabric to prevent it from stretching out. Thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship ensure that the neckline seam is neatly finished. The shirt’s large pocket, shape, and double stitching recreate details typical of American baseball uniforms worn in the 1890s. This product has a slightly stiff texture as a result of pigment dyeing.
