In spring 2026, we completely refreshed the silhouette and design of the Waffle Midneck, evolving it into a more comfortable item that molds to your body like knitwear. We widened the body by about 6 cm, increased the length by about 2 cm, and added natural ease around the shoulders to achieve a relaxed fit that never feels constricting. To prevent the fabric from stretching or losing shape when worn or after washing, we utilize a proprietary unrolling process in which the original roll of fabric is first unrolled and left to rest for 24 hours. Allowing the material to return to its natural state before cutting and sewing significantly reduces the shrinkage and warping of the finished garment after washing. The main parts are stitched with flat seams to minimize unevenness in the seam allowances, ensuring that the garment retains the soft, comfortable feel of 100% cotton while also being gentle on the skin. For the neckline, cuffs, and hem, a lightweight and moderately stiff drop-stitch rib knit is used. This ribbing resists stretching and retains its shape well even after repeated washing. The design is inspired by the classic cold-weather baseball undershirt, with new color variations released each season. This is a staple piece developed over time with comfort, ease of care, and durability for long-lasting wear in mind.
