Fall & Winter 2026
This crewneck shirt has the look of a piece of outerwear, but it is actually a sweatshirt. It is made from terry material knitted on old-fashioned loopwheel knitting machines using organic open-end cotton for the front yarn. By intentionally separating the back loops—which are typically formed in a single piece—into two parts, we are able to precisely control the density and size of the loops, resulting in a high-quality, lofty loop structure. This preserves the characteristic softness and lightness of the loopwheel terry while deepening the look of the fabric, giving the piece a clean-cut impression despite being a sweatshirt. Furthermore, this premium French terry material resists warping and maintains it shape after washing, offering peace of mind for everyday use. For the design, we adopted the freedom sleeve style of construction popular in the 1940s and 50s, creating a relaxed fit around the chest, a rounded “freedom line,” and a silhouette that naturally tapers towards the hem. We focused on finding the right balance to make sure the shirt maintains a relaxed feel without looking sloppy. The shirt makes use of coverstitching in wear-prone areas and flat seams in areas that come into contact with the skin, ensuring both comfort and durability. From the fabric to the stitching and details, we made every choice with purpose to create a sweatshirt you can cherish forever.
