The GJ (Ground Jumper) Neck Shirt is made from big waffle fabric and designed for layering. The collar is set slightly wider than our Midneck, allowing it to sit comfortably over inner layers without feeling restrictive. A drawstring at the hem lets you adjust the length and silhouette, while a relaxed fit through the chest and shoulders provides natural ease of movement. To maintain the fabric’s shape, we use an unrolling process—letting the fabric rest for 24 hours before cutting—to reduce shrinkage and distortion after washing. Flat seams are used throughout to preserve the texture of the cotton and ensure comfort against the skin. A lightweight, moderately firm drop-stitch rib is applied at the neckline, cuffs, and hem to help retain the garment’s shape. The collar, inspired by cold-weather baseball jackets, is carefully eased in by hand to keep its structure and durability.
