This GG pile-lined crewneck sweatshirt was developed with the goal of creating a piece that develops a better texture the more you wear it, naturally growing on you over time. We have added reinforcement panels to the shoulder area, which is particularly prone to stretching with repeated wear and washing, to enhance its durability as a sweatshirt. These reinforcements incorporate a technique used in baseball uniforms to prevent them from tearing during slides. We meticulously calculate the amount of inner fabric visible from the outside and stitch it underneath with care to ensure that it looks flawless. We have updated the design by using the same 100% cotton material found in the ribbing for the reinforcement panels and gussets at the front and back. This gives them even more stretch than the main body fabric, allowing the shirt to conform to your body’s movements the more you wear it. The main parts are stitched with flat seams to minimize the bulk of the seam allowances and ensure a gentle feel against the skin, while areas needing extra strength are reinforced with single-needle overlock stitching. The GG Sweat Crewneck combines everyday comfort with long-lasting durability. It will gradually develop a look that is uniquely yours over time.
