Fall & Winter 2026
The Himo Polo is made from a jersey-knit fabric produced in Italy using sliver knitting machines. The wool used to make it is sourced from the Shetland Islands in northern Scotland and is known for its plush texture. Sliver knitting is a technique in which wool is knitted into a bulky fabric directly from the unspun fibers. This process traps plenty of air between the fibers, resulting in a lightweight yet highly insulating fabric. It highlights the natural, rustic charm of Shetland wool while enveloping you in warmth. In terms of design, we envisioned a polo shirt that could be thrown on with ease like an outerwear piece. We improved the fit of the neckline with a collar shape designed to stay upright and added lightweight PLANCER snap fasteners to make the shirt easy to put on and take off. We also added side seam pockets for increased practicality, making the shirt easy to use in everyday life. Combining the superior warmth of its materials with a practical design for wearing as a light outer layer, this polo shirt is sure to become a staple of your cold-weather wardrobe.
