This baseball shirt is made from strikingly thick GG (Garagara) French terry fabric knitted in Japan using low-count, Japan-made yarn. We developed it as a cut-and-sewn outer piece that will keep you comfortable during the seasonal transition into early fall, when some summer heat still lingers but you start needing an outer layer. Leveraging the soft, enveloping feel of GG French terry, we tailored the length to be practical to wear as a mid-layer, creating a balanced piece that works as well on its own as it does with other layers. The design is a reinterpretation of early 1900s baseball uniforms with standing collars, but with convenient pockets added for enhanced practicality when worn as an inner layer. Drawing on its classic heritage, we have tweaked the details of this piece to make it easy to incorporate into everyday styles. While inheriting Jackman’s DNA, it blends effortlessly into contemporary wardrobes, offering added functionality and a fresh edge. The GG Sweat Baseball Shirt adapts to a wide range of styles, making it ideal for the transition between seasons.
